I’ve been teaching Classics at the collegiate level for over fifteen years, and normally write about Roman poetry and Greek mythology. This blog is an outlet for me to talk about the ways in which my professional life and personal life overlap. Although I’ve written on some of this kind of thing before, most of this will never make it into any kind of professional publication. Rather, these are some of my relatively immediate thoughts on board games that use Greek and Roman themes, historical fiction set in Classical Antiquity, and heavy metal songs and albums that draw on the ancient world.
